This Privacy Policy explains how Aurify Dashboard (browser extension, website, promo site, and related services) processes personal data. You can use the extension without an account; registration is optional. Premium provides access to additional features of the service; their set may change over time.
This document is prepared with regard to the laws of the Russian Federation, including Federal Law No. 152-FZ on Personal Data.
This policy applies to the promo site, the personal website (account sign-in and profile), the Aurify Dashboard browser extension, our API, and the contact form. Dashboard settings, widget layout, backgrounds, and related new-tab data are stored locally in your browser on your device. With an account, we also process profile data on our servers as described below.
• Extension (local on your device): widget layout, appearance settings, backgrounds, greeting name, tasks, and other dashboard options — in browser storage. • Account (on our servers): login, display name, username, password (stored as a one-way hash), optional email, avatar URL, subscription tier, sign-in and profile metadata, acceptance records for legal documents (version, date, IP address, browser type, locale). • Technical: when calling our API — IP address, browser type, request identifiers, and logs — for security, stability, and diagnostics. • Weather: when you use the weather widget through our API, information about the selected place or location needed to fetch a forecast may be transmitted. • Promo site analytics (only with your consent): anonymized visit statistics via Yandex Metrica, including webvisor and click map data. • Contact form: name, email, and message text when you submit. • Transactional email: when you register, verify email, reset password, or change email — we send messages to the address you provide.
Creating an account is voluntary. You may register in the extension or on the website. Email may be added later for sign-in and password recovery. We do not sell your personal data. You can delete your account in account settings (password required); this removes your profile and related account data from our servers, except where retention is required by law. Local new-tab settings on your device are not automatically affected.
Providing extension features; operating accounts and authentication; providing Premium access and related capabilities; running the promo site and website; responding to user inquiries; sending transactional emails; showing weather via our API; analyzing promo site traffic (with analytics consent); improving the service; compliance with applicable law.
Your consent (including at registration and for analytics); performance of the Terms of Use; our legitimate interests where your rights are respected; other grounds under applicable law (including Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ).
Local extension data is kept until you delete it (remove the extension or clear site/extension data). Account data is kept until you delete your account or we no longer need it for the stated purposes. Contact form submissions and technical logs are kept as long as needed for processing purposes; logs are usually kept for up to 12 months.
We may use hosting providers, email delivery services, Unsplash for background images, WeatherAPI.com for weather data (via our API proxy; we transmit only the minimum needed for a forecast for the selected place), Yandex LLC (Yandex Metrica — with your consent to analytics cookies), and other processors under contract. We share only the minimum data required for each purpose.
If infrastructure or services outside Russia are used, transfer may occur where permitted by law (including consent or contract). Contact ilgizkhuzin13@gmail.com for current details.
You may request access, correction, blocking, or deletion of your data, withdraw consent, delete your account, and lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. Send requests to ilgizkhuzin13@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days unless the law requires otherwise.
The service is not intended for independent use by anyone under 14 without parental consent.
We may update this Privacy Policy when features or data practices change. The current version is published on this page with the date. Material changes may require renewed consent where the law requires it.
